On the latest episode of Fox Soul's The Mix, viewers tuned in to watch their special guest, Yung Baby Tate. The Georgia-native has been garnering a buzz around the industry for quite some time, appearing on Dreamville's 2019 album Revenge of the Dreamers III on "Don't Hit Me Right Now", and now her latest single "I Am" has gone viral on social media platforms. Late last year, she dropped her 7-track EP After the Rain which enlisted features from fellow rapper, Flo Milli and 6LACK. The EP gave listeners just a glimpse of her musical prowess. Now signed to Issa Rae's label, Raedio, it doesn't look like she's planning to take her foot off our necks. Announcing the deluxe version of After the Rain, fans can expect a few more tracks from the burgeoning artist. Returning as a specials guest on The Mix, viewers can listen to her talk about XXL's exclusion of women, signing to Issa Rae's new music label, and her upcoming album.
