The Brooklyn Mirage is still buzzing from the latest edition of the venue's signature event series The Cityfox Experience. Having made a massive splash at the start of summer with the 'Regenerate' edition, the 'Arise' installment was just as impressive; maintaining the elusive venue's reputation for delivering world-class electronic music experiences.

This year's outdoor opening apparition at The Cityfox Experience: Regenerate brought the conversion of the Great Hall into a swanky lounge featuring ambient grooves in addition to unveiling the permanent installation of a lush Garden Lounge. Festival-foodies rejoice as the venue makes a thoughtful upgrade to a full-fledged onsite food court, featuring an expanded concourse while boasting organic and vegan cuisine curated by Executive Chef Chris McLaughlin as well as a boozy milkshake serving candy bar to further sweeten the deal.

These new spaces gave attendees even more places to explore, bringing the total number for a fully-functioning Avant Gardner Event Complex up to seven. Production for "Regenerate" was as state-of-the-art as ever, boasting bespoke 3D visuals on the infamous tile walls designed by 404.ZERO studios, festival grade lighting and custom KV2 sound system. The lineup was exceptionally well-curated, boasting top names in melodic techno, techno and house music. Highlights of the night included Mirage sets by Recondite, Adriatique and 16BL at the outdoor side stage. Overall, for a venue that's maintained its' striking impression since opening 3 years ago, the new additions and updates to the Avant Gardner campus are very impressive – affirming their sophisticated flair and precise attention to detail.

The 'Arise' edition of the signature event returned over Independence Day weekend and marked the official mid-point of The Brooklyn Mirage summer season. Keeping true to their acclaimed curation of the best in house and techno we saw yet another top-tier lineup take the decks. Tecnno tastemakers Maceo Plex, ANNA, Nastia, Patrice Bäumel brought the percussion with live and house leaning sets given play by Henry Saiz b2b Edu Imbernon, Einmusik (live), Luca Bacchetti, Tara Brooks, Dejan, Dusky, Dory, Lisa Frank and Alice Iguchi. Highlights of the event were the re-vamped village stage, featuring new immersive pixelated lighting that compliments the space nicely and standout sets in the Mirage space by ANNA and Patrice Bäumel.

Following the midsummer event, fans have quite a few gems to look forward to throughout the balance of the season. Afterlife has confirmed the labels' return takeover and announced a lineup for September 7th, as have Anjunadeep for their impending Open Air comeback on July 13th. A number of sold-out soirées pepper the calendar, three of them by RUFUS DU SOL, Alesso, Gryffin, Fisher & Chris Lake with more expected to take the claim. Other exciting events are on the horizon from Gorgon City, Tale of Dust, Green Velvet, elrow and Sasha_John Digweed just to name a few on our radar.  The continued bi-weekly installments of the free Morgana event series have become somewhat of a phenom amongst locals to Brooklyn, providing access and exposure to the marvel of the Mirage to the community while tapping into an audience who might have otherwise not purchased tickets – the happening consistently draws over 1000 club goers on a weeknight.

The venue hosted 4 events throughout the Independence Day week and weekend, with Bedoin's SAGA showcase having kicked it off on Wednesday. J.Cole hosted a day party on the holiday itself and Galantis welcomed the weekend Friday evening. Bookings are constantly diversifying the signature sound of The Brooklyn Mirage – playing home to a myriad of genres across all facets of dance, electronic and popular music.  Saturday's evening’s "Arise" installment of The Cityfox Experience was the pinnacle of the independence day festivities.

The finale of the summer Cityfox series comes in-tandem with the bittersweet seasons closing of The Brooklyn Mirage.  The Cityfox Experience: Transcend will deliver the show-stopping climax on September 28th, and with headlining performances from Dixon and Kölsch already confirmed the event is  destined to generate memories that surpass  far beyond the event. Organizers have bestowed a brilliant lineup to see the summer off  to its’ finite conclusion. Following the seminal soirée the festivities move to the Great Hall as the beloved Mirage fades away for yet another winter at Avant Gardner.
