Desert Hearts, the label and festival known for their uniquely psychedelic ensemble and around-the-clock thumping of house and techno, is now bringing their City Hearts shows to the big stage. The first of its kind, City Hearts Festival is bringing the madness of the desert into the concrete jungle, for a good cause too. Desert Hearts will be using this new event to engage their community for change and social action with the launch of Helping Hearts, a charitable division of the Desert Hearts movement. By donating 25% percent of the ticket sales to the Downtown LA Mission, as well as a day of community service leading up to the festival, Desert Hearts intends to spread the culture of the movement hand in hand with their new city.

With 10 hours of open-air house and techno upon us, Marbs supplied us with a monstrous playlist to begin channeling those charitable party-tech feels. The playlist is filled with insanely gritty techno and tech-house bending in and out of both melodic and party tech elements, ultimately capturing the full journey of sound we can expect from Marbs this Sunday. City Hearts Festival will be at the Los Angeles Center Studios Sunday, November 12, in DTLA, rain or shine.
