Future Islands has had a great 2014. Their album Singles, is regarded as one of the standout albums of the year. Their track "Seasons (Waiting On You)," was picked as the song of the year by various music publications. However, the road to success for the Baltimore based band has been anything but easy. The short film Road Dawgs, shows Future Islands doing what they have done for years on end, grind it out on the road.
The clip, directed by Jay Buim, shows the group on it's grueling tour schedule, while battling the mental and emotional fatigue that comes with being touring musicians. Though the size of their crowds has expanded, Future Islands is still true to themselves and their signature synth and alternative rock roots.
