In terms of experimental, translucent sounds, nobody fares better than the Detroit based record label Ghostly. They've recently teamed up with AIAIAI, the Danish headphone company, to present a new version of TMA-1 headphones, a popular favorite within the DJ-ing community.
This special version includes the Ghostly logo design, and "comes with a striking, woven, black cable as well as a custom driver/cup pairing for a new, signature sound," according to the AIAIAI homepage.
To celebrate they have also released a mini-compilation, featuring three remixes of Ghostly's Lusine, Recondite, and Shigeto. The label has always released some of the most interesting music in the experimental electronic world, and these definitely follow suite. They're free downloads as well, so there is nothing to lose.
