While the release of a full-length has traditionally been a milestone reserved for veteran producers, Mat Zo is clearly up for the challenge with recent news of his debut album Damage Control. Out later this year on Anjunabeats, fans have heard teases of what is to come from live sets, a brilliant 70-track Essential Mix, and his recent Sirius XM podcast The Mat Zo Mix. The album follows a huge year for the young Brit that saw his Porter Robinson collaboration “Easy” reach monumental success, and his latest single “Pyramid Scheme” is seeing huge traction in charts and live sets alike.

Still, don’t expect every track to be a club shaker. From his MRSA drum & bass roots to the hip-hop interludes like “Caller ID”, this release is sure to include sounds from a variety of influences. To go along with the release will be a headlining world tour that will cover North America by bus. While the album release and tour dates are still to be announced, this is a long-awaited confirmation for Mat Zo’s loyal following.
