London indie rock act Arliston return with gentle number “Mothering,” offering up a delicate mix of piano and guitar carried by airy, emotive vocals. A track that ebbs and flows with ease, it leaves us feeling more relaxed with every note.
The first release from their forthcoming EP Even In the Shade, the soothing production swells with a minimal yet intricate instrumental arrangement, the hazy quality of the vocals lending to their signature soul-warming pop sound.
Lulling us into a trance while still getting us grooving along, “Mothering” is an ambient track which sets up a momentum for the band as they come back strong from a brief hiatus.
