Belgian techno legionnaire Farrago recently announced his debut 10-track debut album Blesssed, set for release on the 19th of May, which you can pre-save here. The bountiful new project will be released via his own imprint Vermillion Trax, a brand-new label that is making steps to subvert expectations and deviate from the norm.
We’re boldly introduced to Farrago’s new world with the potent new single "Addicted To Bass" which features special vocals from Amelie Lens. "Addicted To Bass” is a forceful statement of intent from Farrago, with Amelie’s vocals slicing through the mix like a jagged edge. The ardent stomp of Farrago’s trademark kicks provides the backbone to this undeniably commanding single. The track grips and releases tension seamlessly across its entirety, leading to a rapturous crescendo of rapidly cycling low-end synths and scattered percussion.
The Belgian DJ and producer his name is synonymous to fast and trippy sounds from the broader spectrum of electronic music. A mix of trancey melodies and psy-infused technoare to be expected when you are surrounded by other ravers on Farrago's dancefloor. After 3 releases on the Berlin-based A R T S label, the Exhale resident co-founded Lenske with Amelie Lens in 2018 and has been a mainstay there for the past few years. A few years later, a new chapter unfolds with the announcement of his debut album that will be released on a new label run by the man himself.
