Put on your all green or all black outfit to listen to the newest drill-rap album by Ealuhri, You’re Welcome World, that may make you go past the speed limit while listening in the car.
The Atlanta-based rapper, makes it clear he is loyal to the rap game, his family, friends and loved ones with the first track, ‘GOOO!!!!’ As he raps, “Diss on my brother, tell them we can go, counting’ green at the red light told the driver, ‘Go.’ Y-Double, Lil Yo Gang spin a block like the pope. All black outfit, unload and go. Boots matchin’ my Glock, Glock matchin’ the coat.”
Put the seatbelt on and drive into a new world as Ealuhri takes you on a euphoric journey. In ‘Splattttt’ he explains living life to the fullest, going live on TikTok and continues the adrenaline rush that can be felt throughout the album.
If you’ve seen or are a fan of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, then ‘Wimpy Kid’ brings that nostalgia and makes it obvious that Ealuhri is a fan of the series with lyrics, “I used to be a wimpy kid, til I went got the cheese touch. Til I went and touched some cheese.” In the music video, the shows sketches come to life and the infamous Loaded Diper van is also an inspiration for Ealuhri, bringing in his own twist honoring his friend Lil Yo who passed away.
Ealuhri also honors his friend LilYo, by forming a supergroup called LilYoGang. The group consists of Ealuhri, Double XL who is Ealuhri’s cousin, YDouble, Slugger, Yung Rock, YTLILRIC, Snotty and Z6. The collective decided to pursue the same goal of music in LilYo’s name.
But Ealuhri doesn’t just honor his friend, he also honors his roots, in ‘Black History Month,’ where he mentions legendary Black men and women including Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King and Notorious B.I.G.
Since loyalty is huge for Ealuhri, he makes sure to highlight it once again in ‘Millions’ where he raps about dying for his Lil YoGang members and giving back to those who are loyal to him.
You’re Welcome World has a total of 17 tracks on the album and throughout most of the tracks Ealuhri describes his wins, his love life, his love for fancy cars and going hard into music making til the day he dies. He is bringing back the Atlanta rap scene on the radar.
