A new artist from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, enters the rap scene as a fully self-written act. Lamya Cammon, artistically known as 414JungleBaby, blends influences from artists like Young M.A in originality, Coi Leray in playful energy, and BIA in confidence and boldness.

The 23-year-old artist, signed to 300 Entertainment, a division of Warner Music, releases JUNGLE THIS JUNGLE THAT, rapping about love, loyalty, staying true to herself, and showing how similar beats can be approached in different ways, while expressing gratitude for those who have supported her dreams.

414JungleBaby kicks off JUNGLE THIS JUNGLE THAT with a high-energy track aimed at her haters, reminding them to focus more on their own relationships than her life.

“I just seen your baby in my mentions, that bitch so weak. Like you should go cheat. I done touched a hundred, that was so easy,” she raps.

Instead of beefing, any opposition is better off staying in their lane because 414JungleBaby will come at your threat, and it will only humble them.

She continues, “That boy a joke, I am not no dummy. JungleBaby stay in they mentions. Don't hear what they say, want attention. Pull up with the gang, leave 'em twitchin'. I keep playin' 2K, but I ain't twitchin' . . . Niggas actin' like they want smoke, they ain't got no bands.”

The next track, “Play A Beat,” feels tailor-made for late-night drives or speeding down the highway. On the record, 414JungleBaby makes it clear she won’t tolerate being played with, as past experiences have left her with trust issues.

“Ay play a beat, I spit bars on it. They played a beat, put my heart on it. She wanna see my heart, but it got scars on it. If they play with me they gonna die. . . they keep telling me they love me ha. .  . I could cut you off. You was my brother now like what bro.”

The theme changes in “Gangsta,” where the question of loyalty is brought up as 414JungleBaby says, “What would you do for me?” The track is a collaboration with rapper Montana 700 from Dallas, Texas. Accompanied by violins, they both keep it real and also share being faithful to the rap game.

414JungleBaby also collaborates with fellow rappers Big Kay and Fox BD on tracks like “Af1” and “Fuck Rap.”

Getting to where she is now hasn’t been an easy journey, as she reflects in “Real Rap.” She spends long hours in the studio and, although she remains humble, she has learned to appreciate what she’s earned while adjusting to her new lifestyle. “They don’t like the way I’m living. It’s feelings I don’t show no more. We don’t do free shows no more. My heart it ain’t cold no more,” she raps. Her success has been built on dedication, though it has also come with the loss of friendships along the way.

On “Rubberband That,” she returns to themes of trust issues and personal growth, emphasizing her evolution into a changed woman who prefers solitude over conflict.

“Sometimes I go ghost to prove who not lit. I’m like ‘Oh God damn.’ I might just sue you since your bitch watch . . . I used to wanna hit you, I’m a changed girl,” she raps.

This energy continues into “Saying My Name” and “Too Easy,” where she asserts, “I blew up by myself I’m not one of you boys, these boys copycat. I wouldn’t give props to none of you boys.”

The final track, “Good That I Did,” finds 414JungleBaby expressing disappointment in fake love and the feeling of being overlooked despite her efforts. She vents frustration while singing, “tell me that you love me, you was playing you ain’t mean it. I don’t need no more fake love, I done seen it.”

Most of the tracks run two minutes or less, but 414JungleBaby still delivers adrenaline, emotional honesty, and a warning of what “the jungle” can bring to an artist’s life.
