Nashville Southern rock outfit Parker Barrow shares pulsing offering "Nothin Left To Save," the final song written for their sophomore album, Hold The Mash.
Led by anthemic riffs, gritty guitars and blues-tinged undertones, the upbeat number is compelling yet punchy as textured instrumentals juxtapose a solid, high-energy pace.
The album's alluring centrepiece, the track showcases the band's evolving sonic identity alongside other tracks like “Make It,” “Novocaine,” “The Healer” and “Glass Eyes Cryin’,” and “Ruby’s Reckoning.”
Shaped by producer Stephen McKnight, the energetic yet poignant production also unveils new layers of vocalist Megan Kane’s voice and delivery, weaving confidence and an penchant for experimentation together with spontaneous ease. Speaking of the track, drummer Dylan Turner says, “‘Nothin Left To Save’ was the last song written for the record. Lyrically I had most of the verses written for some time. It wasn’t until hearing the track that it all came together. The up-tempo rock n roll nature of the song was just what we needed to round out the record and, in our ears, make it feel complete.”
With the track making of the most compelling moments of the project, Parker Barrow continues keep up the momentum and carve out a distinct space for themselves.
