A new artist from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, enters the rap scene as a fully self-written act. Lamya Cammon, artistically known as 414JungleBaby, blends influences from artists like Young M.A in originality, Coi Leray in playful energy, and BIA in confidence and boldness.
The 23-year-old artist, signed to 300 Entertainment, a division of Warner Music, releases JUNGLE THIS JUNGLE THAT, rapping about love, loyalty, staying true to herself, and showing how similar beats can be approached in different ways, while expressing gratitude for those who have supported her dreams.
“I just seen your baby in my mentions, that bitch so weak. Like you should go cheat. I done touched a hundred, that was so easy,” she raps.
Instead of beefing, any opposition is better off staying in their lane because 414JungleBaby will come at your threat, and it will only humble them.
She continues, “That boy a joke, I am not no dummy. JungleBaby stay in they mentions. Don't hear what they say, want attention. Pull up with the gang, leave 'em twitchin'. I keep playin' 2K, but I ain't twitchin' . . . Niggas actin' like they want smoke, they ain't got no bands.”
“Ay play a beat, I spit bars on it. They played a beat, put my heart on it. She wanna see my heart, but it got scars on it. If they play with me they gonna die. . . they keep telling me they love me ha. . . I could cut you off. You was my brother now like what bro.”
The theme changes in “Gangsta,” where the question of loyalty is brought up as 414JungleBaby says, “What would you do for me?” The track is a collaboration with rapper Montana 700 from Dallas, Texas. Accompanied by violins, they both keep it real and also share being faithful to the rap game.
