What started as a simple passion project to support a friend’s growing DJ career has evolved into one of the most influential platforms in electronic dance music. Founded in 2014 by Dublin-based artist Dylan Smith, EDMHouseNetwork now celebrates its 10th anniversary, marking a decade defined by growth, community, and moments that have resonated with fans around the world.
The platform first took shape on SoundCloud, where it quickly began catching the attention of artists from across the global dance scene. As names like Armin van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and Timmy Trumpet began sharing their music through the channel, EDMHouseNetwork earned a reputation as a trusted home for music discovery and promotion. What began as a personal outlet soon demanded more time and focus, ultimately evolving into a full-time brand.
That leap proved to be a turning point. Today, EDMHouseNetwork boasts a massive digital footprint, with more than 2 million followers on Facebook, over 500,000 on Instagram, and a rapidly growing TikTok audience exceeding 200,000. This reach has firmly positioned the platform at the center of dance music culture. Through its original content, from anniversary throwbacks and birthday tributes to new release coverage and exclusive artist interviews, EDMHouseNetwork has cultivated a loyal, highly engaged global community.
To celebrate its 10-year milestone across 2024 and 2025, the platform chose to give back to the fans who helped build it. EDMHouseNetwork rolled out a series of major festival giveaways, offering VIP tickets to some of the world’s most iconic events, including UNTOLD, Creamfields, Breakaway, Electric Island, Gridlife, Parookaville, Escapade, and even an all-expenses-paid trip to Ibiza. Unique experiences, such as a chance to DJ on a boat in Croatia, added to the celebration. The response was overwhelming, with more than 20,000 comments across campaigns, and countless memories were created for the community that has supported the platform since its inception.
Today, EDMHouseNetwork counts among its followers some of the biggest names in electronic music, including Tiësto, David Guetta, Afrojack, and Steve Aoki, as well as globally renowned festivals such as Tomorrowland, UNTOLD, and Ultra Music Festival. This recognition from artists and institutions alike further cements the platform’s standing as a trusted and respected voice within the scene. With electronic music continuing to command a global audience, EDMHouseNetwork now looks toward its next chapter.
