With the release of just two singles under their belt, superstar has already collected an impressive following since former members of the Athens, Georgia-based indie-rock band A.D. Blanco returned with a new name and a new sound.
Their second single, "daredevil" explores elements of folk-pop and indie-rock with a warm closeness and just the right amount of production.
Strummed acoustic guitar takes the lead on this track, but quiet hints of synth highlight the slow simplicity of the refrain and trail off into the ending.
As they gear up to release more music, the band has already hinted at more shows and a second music video on the horizon.
If this amount of hype is what just two singles can garner, 2026 is going to be a good year for superstar.
