Vancouver-born rapper 604Blizzy taps into authenticity on latest single “Gunda,” a collaboration with global icon Diljit Dosanjh on Dosanjh’s new album AURA.

An offering rooted in real and complete synergy, the track sees both artists blend their two sonic worlds to create something new amidst it. Balancing sharp precision with emotional weight, the track marries Diljit’s signature smoothness with Blizzy’s edgy musicality to sway from reflection to ferocity across each note. Speaking of the collaboration, Blizzy says, “When I heard the beat, it just clicked.I knew what I wanted to say, it felt real.”

Having steadily carved out a place for himself in music, Blizzy has ticked off milestone after milestone including a sold-out, beyond-capacity show in Vancouver with Payroll Giovanni.

Striking a balance of collaborative spirit working with Detroit staples like Big Quis, BabyTron, and Peezy, while also shaping his individual sonic signature rooted in connection, Blizzy’s blend of Punjabi and Western rap is a fusion that strikes an easy chord.

Having performed across Chicago, Seattle, and Vancouver, sharing stages with acts like Cash Kidd and expanding his reach across North America, 604Blizzy continues to be a hands-on artist across every detail of his craft from writing and recording to editing visuals and creative rollout.

Built on discipline, consistency and passion, his carefully crafted artistry remains true to his roots while still expanding its influence across audiences. His dedication for music extends beyond his own craft as seen in the development of The Blizzard Foundation, a nonprofit initiative focused on helping young creatives get real opportunities not just advice.

The plan is to provide access to studio time, mentorship, and tools to help the next generation build their art the right way.Through the foundation, Blizzy is providing free access to mentorship programs, creative tools, and professional guidance designed to help the next generation build their art the right way. There are no fees, no hidden costs, and no strings attached – the focus is on creating impact, investing his own time, energy, and resources to uplift artists who might otherwise never get the chance to be heard.

Speaking of his intent behind the foundation, he says, “I didn’t have any of that coming up. So now I want to build something that gives people a real shot. No handouts, just a foundation.”

Founded upon the steadfast belief that creativity thrives when supported, The Blizzard Foundation is an empowering, community-driven effort aimed at inspiring confidence in young creative. Rooted in a heartfelt generosity, the initiative seeks to establish not recognition but a powerful reminder that talent should be what determines someone’s future.

Giving back exactly what he wishes he had when he was coming up, Blizzy’s pursuit of meaningful change in the music scene further establishes his compelling spirit alongside fierce creativity.

What started in Vancouver has already touched Detroit, Punjab, and beyond. And with “Gunda” 604Blizzy marks a huge moment where an independent Canadian voice connects with one of the biggest Punjabi artists on the planet, establishing him as an artist who isn’t likely to slow down any time soon.
