Maddie Park grew up singing as a child, belting out tunes a the dinner table, school lunchroom, and almost anywhere. She later joined the local choir and musical theatre programs, before expanding her craft by learning the piano and guitar. The South Bay Area singer first graced our pages with her 2021 single "lilies" and now she returns with new single "text me". The track is led by a sombre piano riff that slowly builds into a moody soulful piece that sees her detailing the emotions that build up in long-distance relationships. Maddie approaches it from a lovelorn perspective and pours out on wax the candid feelings of missing that special someone.
