Vancouver artist Chappy Go Lucky got an early start in the music industry, realizing his talent at the age of 5. Fast-forward years later, Chappy has built a thriving network in the industry, as well as released several catchy tunes. It all started in a Montreal high school when Chappy and his friend placed a $1000 bet depending on his musical ability. If Chappy could write a better rap song than the french Canadian rap group “Les Anticipateurs”, he would win the money. Chappy won the bet after all and decided to spend his profits on a trip to Australia to do some soul-searching.
Since his trip, Chappy has been through a long journey – filled with parties, heartbreak, and music. After taking on journaling, and realizing the need to embrace the past to enter the future, Chappy has been working tirelessly on his new album, set to release on Valentine's Day of this year. Labeled Attachment Styles, the project is engineered by Polish producer Rockefela – and is anticipated to be a collection of Chappy's thoughts and experiences to this day.
Attachment Styles is set to release this year through Raincoverage Records, so keep your eyes open for a mid-march release!
