After sharing their debut single "Sixteen Shots" some weeks ago, the newly formed rap duo Random Act of Violence (Pawz One & Evolve) return with their sophomore single titled "Project Called Mayhem." Bolstered by an ominous and gritty soundscape, the duo proceed to share unfiltered thoughts on systemic racism, the current state of affairs in the states, and other real-time issues plaguing the country. The duo trade bars with vicious intent, poking fun at extremely patriotic republicans, zealots, and bootlickers while flexing their rights to free speech. Nothing is spared here and listeners get a dose of that hard-hitting underground rap some of us may find nostalgic. Overall, the aptly titled track hits the bullseye and leaves listeners with something to ponder on as the trouble in the world rages on.
"Project Called Mayhem" is taken from the duo's self-titled album which is chock-full of grimy bars over bangin' beats for the head-nodders.
