South African rap duo A-Reece and Jay Jody, known together as Blue Tape, share the visuals for their song "Tuff Luck"(stylized at ‘tufF lucK’). The A-Reece and Iceman Beatz produced record is as lush and groovy as they come and sees both rappers flexing their lyrical prowess and shutting down all the haters and naysayers. A-Reece opens it up with his unique melodic flow and his knack for crafting smooth choruses is evident here while Jay Jody comes through with an elder statesman mentality.
For the accompanying music video, A-Reece and Jay Jody linked up with Saya Creatives to bring the track further to life by creating an organic and free-flowing party-tinged visual that stays true to the spirit of classic fun hip-hop videos of the '90s. From performance shots, fun-filled house party vibes with friends, viewers get to see the siblings having the time of their lives because they deserve it.
"Tuff Luck" is taken from A-Reece and Jay Jody's collaborative project entitled Heaven Can Wait: The Narrow Door (Vol. 1), which was released in late 2021.
