Hailing from Brooklyn while repping his hometown of Portland, Maine, the infectious and melodic wordsmith B. Aull returns with a thoroughly inviting and replay-worthy cut titled "Tomfoolery". A tag team with Brooklyn-based emcee Donnie Durag, the track finds the two emcees at their most catchy and quotable.
"Tomfoolery" is a bouncy, basketball-centric cut that sees Durag and Aull doing their best Harden and Durant impressions in the Madwiz-directed visual. Produced by prominent New Jersey artist and producer Angelo Mota, heavy synth stabs give way to cacophonous percussion and upbeat drums that set the stage for a ridiculously catchy chorus and some slick verse work from the dynamic duo. Aull had to say of the track, "With this one, I really just wanted to tap into that fun, catchy, braggadocious side that I feel I excel with. I wrote the hook over a year ago after dealing with some antics from people whom I thought were on the same page as me, but alas…no dice. The tough guy persona isn't really my lane, so I wanted to put more of a fun ‘unbothered’ spin on the classic ‘me against the world’ anthem."
For a happy-go-lucky and panoramic artist like Aull, "Tomfoolery" is a breezy showcase of what he is capable of. Bars that are sure to get stuck in your head are commonplace for the Maine native, and his quirky, fun-loving, and infectious persona are sure to catch the eye of fans near and far.
