Jack Galloway, London recording artist and music producer is here with a feel-good pop-rock EP. Only Hours In is the ultimate reflection of Galloway’s life, touching on experiences that have shaped him as a person; serving it wrapped up in an energizing, highly listenable collection of songs. From love and heartbreak to all things free-spirited, the aura of this EP is bubbling in passion for life and growth.

The drums throughout the EP are pulsing in pure speed and power, with classic rock guitar riffs and a collection of high frequency acoustic guitars, resonating out over the gritter tones in the pop-rock tracks. With euphoric harmonies and the range of vocal dynamics, the EP carries an array of emotion, giving us a chance to hone in on the lyrical wisdom and Galloway’s raw encounters.

“End of This Road” starts the album, with no hanging around as he sings, “from the word go.” Recalling his experiences in a toxic and unhealthy relationship, he goes through the cycles of romantic hell. Described as his most personal song to date, this track is the ultimate song to put the nail in the coffin of his troubles. The drums stand out as vibrant and big, although at times soft and subtle, reflective of the ups and downs felt in the tune. With catchy riffs and a melancholic undertone beneath, you witness the sense of release in the upbeat sonic vibe. On top of all this there's some face-melting guitar solos dotted about.

"Falling For You" emits a nostalgic feel. Through storytelling lyrics, Galloway reminisces on a past relationship, while the fast-paced drums and jangly guitars create a feeling of excitement, reflecting the butterflies you get when you first meet a new love interest.

Then there is "Blame It on the Rain" which takes the tone down a notch. Showing the songwriter's versatility, the passionate, heartfelt ballad oozes with soaring harmonies, sincere lyrics and a crying guitar solo. If this doesn't make you shed a tear, then nothing will!

The free spirit is sure to lift up anyone who listens. The sunshine radiance breaks through the clouds of darker themes shedding light on the clouds of life. Bringing us his fresh take on 80s stadium pop-rock music, Galloway hopes to keep his authenticity at the heart of his music as the Londoner shares, “I’ll speak my truth” as he gives us insight into the diary of his memories.
