It's an all Boston affair as legendary emcee Edo. G and Insight Innovates team up for a full-length project and in the interim they share the focus single “It Takes Progress." With Insight Innovates behind the boards, a somber canvas of sounds is created the duo's youthful bravado aims to push the culture forward by sparking minds. Insight Innovates kicks it off with his calm delivery and implores us to always be patient regardless of what life throws at us. Edo. G closes it out G style with gems on perseverance and being true to oneself at all times.
The duo recruits the help of director Myster DL for ILL Mannered Films to help bring the track to life in this thrilling new music video. The visuals center on the two Boston rap icons, performing their art at a local museum filled with artifacts of the past. It's quite straightforward and makes use of a mix of quick-cut scenes and long shots to capture the enthralling scenery in the museum.
