Kosha Dillz's love for freshly baked bagels and hip-hop knows no bounds and he blends the two on his newest exploit "Ten Bagel Commandments." The title is a play on the classic track by the late Notorious B.I.G and sees Dillz laying down the rules for copping the best bagels in the city. He makes use of the same DJ Premier produced beat to add nostalgia to the mix and gives us a detailed rundown of the bagel commandments and the sheer importance of those little bad boys. From the plain to the flavored, Dillz knows the drill and hopefully, this will educate those not familiar to get onboard the bagel train.
The video is a celebration of New York bagels and the people that make the city tick. He takes us through some of the best bagel mom n pop places in New York City while giving us a glimpse into the natives that add their unique color to the big apple. To add to the ridiculousness of the song, the video features Spider Cuz, a Crip walking Times Square Spider-Man who frequents videos with New York Nico, and Crackhead Barney, a Jamaica Queens performance artist who recently went viral for her comical interview of the infamous Qanon Shaman before he stormed the Capitol building (now famous for only eating organic food in jail). There is quite a lot to unpack in the vibrant visual but the payoff has to be the Office Space tribute towards the end.
