Wiki links up with Tony Seltzer and Adrian Lau on "Cash Out"

Over the last five years, New York producers Tony Seltzer and Adrian Lau have collaborated with some of rap's biggest acts, including Smokepurpp, Jay Critch, and Rich the Kid. Having earned production credits on projects like Ski Mask's STOKELEY and Princess Nokia's A Girl Cried Red, the duo are back with a new mixtape titled Avenues. Seltzer and Lau also dropped the lead single for the release, the Wiki-assisted "Cash Out."

On "Cash Out," New York rap veteran Wiki rattles off cheeky rhymes over the cheerful, upbeat production. His brazen drawl and unapologetic delivery add a layer of sincerity to indulgent lines like "I don't need a band, I need a symphony." Seltzer and Lau weave in a seamless beat switch at the one-minute mark. At this point, the buoyant production takes a backseat to a melancholy piano-led instrumental. Wiki takes the transition in stride, slowing his flow without ever missing a beat. The second half of the song sees Wiki wax poetic as he grows introspective. He raps, "Went from the front-man to the one-man-band," referring to his stint as rap crew RATKING's frontman.

Avenues is out July 2017, and will feature appearances from Princess Nokia, Slayter, and more.
