The hybrid-electronic producer Late Night Radio is better than ever on "Dry Land", the lead single to his forthcoming LP.
Late Night Radio is the moniker of Denver’s own Alex Medellin. A frequent collaborator with pioneering electro-funk musicians SunSquabi, Manic Focus, and Break Science, Late Night Radio is a dance music producer who explores movement through the lens of classic rock and hip-hop. His live sets are an interstellar get-down where fans are known to lose themselves in a roaring ebb and flow of funky breakbeats.
“Dry Land” is the first single off of his forthcoming Further Into The Night album which is a reimagination of his Far Into The Night EP. The freshman single is layered with acid jazz and heavy syncopated beats that drop into a steady hip-hop atmosphere. Chopped soul vocals tangle themselves into warped synths assembling “Dry Land” as a Late Night Radio classic.
The second single to the LP “Nostalgic” will be available this Friday, December 6 followed by Further Into The Night Friday, December 13.
