Rising singer Layton Greene exploded onto the scene this year with a melodic version of Kodak Black’s “Roll In Peace” and picked up a contract deal with Quality Control (label behind Migos, Lil Baby) is back with a live version of her song "I Love You."
Helmed by Vevo's DSCVR ‘Artists To Watch’, Greene brings a raw, passionate performance to the screen. The Missouri native taps into her wealth of experience coming from heartbreaks, hardships and then some. Backed by lush, ethereal chords and an overall sparse arrangement, her honeyed vocals shine bright as Greene shares a tale of love, deceit and that lingering thought of someone who is so far gone.
"I Love You" is taken from her debut EP Tell Ya Story, a 7 track body of work that dwells on frustrating impasses, real-deal trials, and tribulations. Get the EP on all DSPs here.
