The best fest on the left coast is back once again! CRSSD Festival, which has transformed into one of the country's best electronic music festival, returns to beautiful downtown San Diego at the coveted Waterfront Park. The 2-day house and techno summer paradise takes place from September 28th-29th with gorgeous waterfront views of ships arriving at the dock, and of course, the best DJs playing the thickest cuts in all directions. EARMILK has loved every iteration of the festival so far and this year looks to be no different, with an incredibly stacked lineup of the best in house and techno.
To prepare you for next week's madness, EARMILK was fortunate enough to receive an exclusive playlist from one of CRSSD's biggest acts, Moon Boots. Born in Brooklyn, Moon Boots was inspired by legends like Frankie Knuckles, Derrick Carter, and Paul Johnson, where he found himself in Chicago playing synth in an indie band and working as a local DJ before aligning with the legendary French Express label for his earliest releases. Recently, the DJ released his sophomore album Bimini Road on Above and Beyond's Anjunadeep sub-label, with plans to embark on an international tour supported by the full 7-person band. But before that, CRSSD attendees are lucky enough to get to see the full performance at the festival… and EARMILK readers can check the playlist below for an early preview.
About the playlist, Moon Boots had this to say:
"Here's a playlist I made for that leisurely drive to CRSSD. I love how CRSSD takes place right in the middle of one of the most beautiful cities in the world, San Diego. Can't wait to bring the live show!"
As you can hear, the maestro has an impressive array of eclectic tracks ready to unleash on unsuspecting CRSSD attendees. So if you were on the fence about trying to attend this fall, then give this playlist a listen and change your mind! Check the links below for more info.
