"I Been On A Budget" sees the time tested emcee dwell on life as an artist who has to rely on a regular 9 to 5 to keep head above water. His perspective is that from an individual who is about to go off the rails as he feels stifled by the constraints around him. Backed by the vibrant instrumental by Grammy-nominated Anwar Marshall and Micah Forsyth, Khemist doesn't hold back his frustrations and let it rip like a man with nothing else to lose.
The Alex Reinhard directed video follows Khemist from his workplace as he trudges through the day and how he tries to cope with the situation so as not so totally lose his mind.
