As the first single to come from her forthcoming album, "Flawless" sets the tone for Sara-Danielle's sophomore album to be as breezy as ever. Pacing behind her 2017 album, Live in My Dreams, the singer-songwriter delivers a perfect opening number full of jazzy swells and a storm of conflicting lyrics.
The Montreal artist worked with Nikolas Benoit-Ratelle and Loukas Perreault-Coderre out of the City of Saints on the song's production. "Flawless" is a soulful number with groovy indie energy about a girl seeking success in a society that puts an impossible tab being perfect. It's the first song she's dropped since she announced joining Ray-On Records.
Sara-Danielle's next album is set to be released in September; the date is to be determined. For now, "Flawless" can be streamed on all digital streaming platforms.
