Keeping in line with the tradition it started 7 years ago, Red Bull Music Festival kicks off April 30th to March 18th. The festival will be sticking to its roots; offering a month long journey of shows, events, and unique experiences. One of the focuses of the festival is to put a spotlight on rising talent. This year, as we can see from the lineup, women are leading the charge! Some of the performances include; FKA twigs, Rosalía, Tierra Whack, Teyana Taylor, Holly Herndon and more!

Rosalia, the Latin Grammy-winning Catalan singer and songwriter, will open the festival, performing music from her critically lauded 2018 album El Mal Querer. Teyana Taylor, fresh from the release of her immaculate K.T.S.E album, will also be shutting it down; tackling the audio/visual experience with help from her all-female production team, The Aunties. Holly Herndon will be at Red Music Festival premiering PROTO, a pioneering new live show featuring music from her new album which is also aptly titled, PROTO. One performance you won’t want to miss is FKA Twigs’ as the last time she performed in NYC was in 2015 at the 2015 Red Bull Music Festival. Philly spitter, singer, and all around gifted musician, Tierra Whack, will also be there to set the stage ablaze after previously headlining her own set at Red Bull Music Festival Los Angeles.
