Faye Webster's "Room Temperature" is the perfect climate

Atlanta-based singer-songwriter Faye Webster released a new single "Room Temperature" today, followed by the announcement of a new album Atlanta Millionaires Club. This will be Webster's third full-length album and if her single is a prelude to what's coming, the album is sure to be filled with Webster's folk-diary entries and mellow vocals. Webster is best known for her intimate writing and personal storytelling. Webster comments, “Everything is way personal. I’ve never been that kind of person who can read a book and then write a song about the book. I have to write about very personal things for me to even want to write”.

The song "Room Temperature" explains the relatable struggle of wanting to be left alone and needing normal socialization with other people. She sings "I should get out more" repeatedly as if trying to convince herself of the statement's truth. The track gives off some seriously strong Hawaiian luau vibes and the self-directed music video stays under the same theme.  It's quite adorable featuring Webster in several social-like settings, such as on a synchronized swim team and hula-ing on the beach with backup dancers.

Next for Faye Webster is a North American tour with Stella Donnelly beginning at Savannah Stopover Music Festival on March 8th. She'll be touring with Lord Huron in the coming months, as well. Atlanta Millionaires Club is scheduled for release on May 24th by Secretly Canadian Records.
