French-American alt-pop musician and visual artist CLARA-NOVA released "The Golden Age' EP this year. Abundant with stunning vocals, rock-n-roll meets modern day electronic production, and a passion that shines through in each track, CLARA-NOVA gifts us with a real treat. Now CLARA-NOVA (aka Sydney Wayser) is back with a new visual for her single "Electric."
CLARA-NOVA's single "Electric," an upbeat, driving jam off the EP, gets you moving and falling in love all at the same time. With the video set in the heart of Paris, CLARA-NOVA entices you with the hustle & bustle of the city life. Fast-paced and fleeting, time somehow feels like it slows as you get lost in the montage of moments. It is a truly electric experience. CLARA–NOVA's hushed vocals have an air of mystery that somehow simultaneously feels familiar.
CLARA–NOVA has been preparing a photo installation tied to the new EP titled 'IRON // GOLD', which will debut Spring of 2019 at a multi-disciplinary show in her hometown of Los Angeles. The installation expands on CLARA–NOVA's songwriting and lyrics in visual format, including collaborations with some of her favorite Los Angeles photographers.
Over the span of her career, Wayser has amassed millions of streams on Spotify, as well as performed on national TV for Last Call with Carson Daly. Additionally, Nic Harcourt from KCSN has spun "Electric" on his morning radio show, Morning Music Mix.
