Chuuwee & iMAGiNARY OTHER drop new project ‘The Tip Of A Tab (PO+)’

Chuuwee doesn't have a clue about taking breaks but we ain't complaining one bit. After dropping numerous singles and a collaborative project AmeriKKa's Most Blunted 3 with Trizz, the Sacramento underground staple is back at it once again as he teams up with longtime collaborator iMAGiNARY OTHER for a new full-length project entitled The Tip Of A Tab (PO+).

The Tip Of A Tab (PO+) is an experimental styled body of work that showcases Chuuwee's storytelling skills laced with vivid imagery and a whole lot of personal anecdotes. The overall theme of the project follows the story of his first time-consuming LSD, whilst briefly addressing the current status of the original PassOver album, the 4th entry from his Dystopia music series that is no longer available for purchase.

He really goes into a personal space on this project but it's always not all gloom and doom as he always throws in quirky references that make it a bit lighthearted. From the self-explanatory intro where Chuuwee fully details the ordeal he went through during the creation of the PassOver project, the psychedelic vibes of "Stay Alive", the much-needed braggadocio on "Chezè Librè" to the solemn Latin groove on "Monkey Knife Fight", the project swirls a truckload of emotions around. Chuuwee once again holds down the fort and trims down the features to just one guest appearance from Sacramento rapper Dceased.

Entirely produced by iMAGiNARY OTHER, the project has a surreal, dreamy feel. The samples are layered, obscure and exude a more lo-fi atmosphere than Chuuwee's previous projects. This project follows their first effort Hollow Bastion which came out 2 years ago. However, on The Tip Of A Tab (PO+) which is the 5th entry in his aforementioned music series, the two are taking a full-on introductory approach to the world.
