Big Twins & Havoc share their respective “Memories”

After dropping the ominous single "Phantom of the opera", Mobb Deep affiliate Big Twins takes us into his personal space with a new heartfelt track titled "Memories". On this one, he links up with Knxwledge who helps prepare the right backdrop for Twins' ode to his late twin brother (who died in a car crash) and Prodigy. While the story behind his loss is well documented (especially for hardcore Mobb Deep fans), the emotion behind his voice is quite chilling and offers a whole new perspective from the horse's mouth. Joining him for the ride is none other than the legendary producer and emcee Havoc. Having been through similar travails, havoc provides his own unique take on the matter. For clarity sakes, Havoc also lost his older brother Killa Black around the same time so hearing both men speak on similar experiences on wax is quite gripping.

“Memories” is the second single taken from Twin’s upcoming Grimey Life LP, which is available now for pre-order and set to drop next Friday, November 16 through the emcee’s own imprint, Drumset Music Works
