Genre-bending French R&B and pop modernist SÔNGE delivers the visuals for her newest tune called "Roses"
The French act follows the less travelled path as she teams up with producer Myd (Club cheval, Theophilus London) who gifts her with an unconventional bounce that switches in arrangement from the verse to a chorus fueled by echoing synth shots. Vocally, she delivers a performance swirls from heartfelt regret to strutting self-confidence.
Directed by Arnaud Giacomini, the video exudes a hazy, late summer vibe and depicts SÔNGE on a road-trip accompanied by two enigmatic individuals known to the viewer only as A and M. The seemingly peaceful trip ends in the trio engaging in scenes of destruction as she sings "Roses don't last forever."
"Rose" serves as the first single from her full-length debut album, which will be released in 2019.
