If you’re a hip hop head in The Golden State, or anywhere on the left side, and don’t know about Trizz yet, now is the perfect time to get familiar. The LA rapper just dropped The Attic, an impressive 10-track album that further solidifies his status as a West Coast heavyweight. Peep game below:

Trizz, who was originally discovered by Sac-Town rap legend Brotha Lynch Hung, spits with a singular, undeniable swagger on The Attic. His signature nonchalant delivery sounds like he's chopping it up on the corner, not standing inside a padded foam booth with a condenser mic in his face.

The album jumps off to a crazy start with “Static,” an emphatic banger where Trizz lets everyone know that he’s out to take names (“If there's static, we gon' make it happen / All black in the back of the station wagon”). Lucky for us, Trizz dropped a dope video for "Static" ahead of the album release:

Other memorable ditties from The Attic include "Ride To," "All Day Long," and "Sick," featuring Tech N9ne affiliate Twisted Insane. Overall, the project is one hell of a ride through the murkiest corners of Los Angeles.

The Attic is out now through Below System Records, on all digital retailers and streaming platforms. Feel free to check out Ashes N Dust, Trizz's previous record, for more West Coast blappy juice.
