Young talented emcee Vitamin Cea piqued our interests as she shimmers on her latest effort titled "Crazy Dream"
The Mississippi based act has actually been putting in work for quite a while now. The video in question is a track from her previously released mixtape titled JoyFull Noise, which showcased her soul-driven hip-hop tinged with spoken word and inspirational elements. The record which dwells on self-appreciation using nature as motif sees Vitamin Cea displaying her gift of gab with lyrics such as "...I danced in circles of puddles of rain, held hands with happiness, she asked me my name/ she said she never heard of me but she was hyped that I can make it..." and thanks to the summery soundscape provided by RVCK, the result is a brilliant one.
For the visuals for "Crazy Dream", she teams up with Brandon McCoy and Kalif Wilkes for the creative direction bringing Vitamin Cea's vivid lyricism to the forefront. The dreamy aesthetics drench the warm set pieces while adding a 90s inspired neo-soul feel to it. It's simple, picturesque and sticks true to the concept of the song. In the interim Vitamin Cea is working on a new EP GRADUWAIT.
