Young Dreams is an up-and-coming indie-pop outfit hailing from Bergen, Norway. Formed by Matias Tellez in 2009, the band has grown from a small project to a full-fledged collective. Fusing Tropicália, psychedelic rock, classical, symphonic arrangements and traditional pop, Young Dreams both adheres to and upends the conventional definitions of pop music, creating a sound that is at once refreshingly familiar and daringly unique.
"Young Dreams" is the band's latest single from their forthcoming LP due out in late 2012. Vocalist Chris Holms sings, "We're restless/That's why we keep on moving/Not empty/Because of our young dreams," a tribute to the band's restlessness that extends past geography into musicality.
