Toronto’s Bedroomer has quickly become one of the most forward and outward thinking labels the city has to offer. The multi-disciplinary collective has been making waves on the underground music scene for a few years now, always contributing a fresh take on the norm. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of attending a Bedroomer show yourself, you’ll recall the creativity, positivity and downright fun energy that flowed through the room.

Tomorrow, the Bedroomer babies are back to get us moving with a new compilation titled “Main Room”, a collection of fourteen tracks drawing inspiration from the footwork genre, fit for any Toronto dance floor and beyond. In addition to contributions from the regulars like Kare and beat sampras, the comp welcomes a group of Toronto newcomers, such as SL.Y and Andrew Juke, to the mix to create a varied yet unified track list. There is a groove for everyone and is reminiscent of the inclusiveness that the collective holds at their very core.

Listen below for the EARMILK premiere of “Talk is Cheap”, a collab from Bedroomer heavy-hitters Eytan Tobin and Internet Daughter. The duo combines their unique sounds to produce a smooth and perfectly grimy heater that will have you bouncing all over the main room. As the first track on the album, it serves as a perfect introduction for what is to follow.

Look out for the "Main Room" compilation out Friday, February 17. And, if you’re in the city the following night, make sure to check out some of the Bedroomer fam (Eytan Tobin, Internet Daughter, Iyer, Fil Jackson & Walmer Convenience) supporting DJ Paypal at The Smiling Buddha where you’ll be sure to hear “Main Room” come to life.
