Remember back in Halloween last year when k?d unveiled the grimacing track "Mortem"? As a sequel to his grimy tech-house inspired track, he has quickly followed up with a sinister song "Vindicta". The track is paired with a cyber-punk inspired robotic figure, adding a sci-fi element to the track. K?d is mostly known for his glistening future bass filled works, that shed light on more blissful tonalities. But it seems the mysterious producer has a darker side with releases like "Mortem" and "Vindicta", exemplifying an emotional dexterity that not many artists are able to grasp at such early stages in their career.

The track begins with high frequency shrills and eventually evolves into a menacing and sharp bass-line. Reminicent of REZZ and Gesaffelstein styles, "Vindicta" takes on a cinematic feel, with clever vocal samples from Dark Souls III which will send shivers down your spine. The track takes listeners on a dark journey, allowing listeners to explore the more ominous side to k?d. Plucking synths and distorted growls add to the overall wicked tone to the track. Solemn whistles and it's eventual disintegration create a peculiar somber to conclude the work.
