The hype surrounding JOYRYDE is real and within the last few months we've seen him gradually take the electronic world by storm. 2016 looks to be the year for this artist as he's landed spots in festivals including EDC, Holy Ship! and headlined his first Australian tour. With tracks including "Maximum King" and "The Box", JOYRYDE is making a name for brilliantly marrying cinematic tropes with quirky bass music. Taking on each project, compressing an action-packed film into the medium of an electronic track is something JOYRYDE has mastered. Considering every fiery release, he has pioneered a gripping aesthetic, what one may consider a thrilling "Hollywood house" sound. Constantly creating anthems for the antagonist, JOYRYDE's badassery in his sound only continues to thrive.

Lucky for us, our favourite adrenaline enthusiast is back with another blood-pumping banger "Hot Drum". With wailing alarms and jarring sirens, he tactfully integrates a reggae drum loop over wobbly bass lines, sparking an infectious torpedo of synths that will make you want to groove. Killing it again, JOYRYDE's "Hot Drum" is solid proof of the producer's creative tactics and ear for unique compositions.
