The Canadian group, Arkells, are an indie rock force that have been making some serious waves this year throughout the scene, especially following the release of their fourth album, Morning Report. So it's no wonder that the genre-blending, mad scientist and producer, Robert Delong, was interested in adding some extra electronic flavor to their infectious indie-pop sounds. EARMILK is excited to premiere this new remix from Delong on Arkell's single "Private School," which features a slightly sped up tempo and chorus, while still maintaining the overall playful tone of the track. Delong also switched out the original guitar driven melodies for an array of analog sounds and beats.
"Private School is already a bit of a party jam, but Robert's remix transports us right to 1am in the middle of a sweaty dance party. We saw his DJ set at FireFly Festival and figured an Arkells remix could fit right in to his set. We're big fans of RDL and think this is dope. Dance, boy!" Max Kerman, Arkells
