LA-Based singer/songwriter Ofelia K made a splash debut with her Plastic Flowers EP. Her unique blend of pop / folk / and electronic creates a captivating sound that distinguishes her in a sea of singer/songwriters. Today she shares with us the first single off her follow-up sophomore EP, due later this year. "Cinco" shows a more playful experimental side of Ofelia, and a side we can definitely dabble in. It has this sinister playfulness that would work perfectly in a Sonya Tayeh choreographed number on SYTYCD (Sonya if you're reading this I love you, and your choreo for The Garden made me fall in love with dance.) Eclectic instrumentation is paired with quirky vocals, creating this sunny yet macarbe feeling to it you can help but to sing along to as you trash about your bedroom. It has notes of Cocorosie packaged with that signature Ofelia sound we've grown to love. Take a listen for yourself and be on the lookout from more material from this rising artist destend for the top.
