What are the chances of getting two pretty dope mashups that contain the lyrical genius of Childish Gambino? I'm not too sure, but after hearing the song post by Liz of DJ 21azy's "Let Me Get A Dollar" that included the likes of Gambino and Aloe Blacc, I wasn't really expecting to be sent another splendid mashup by the same guy. This time, however, my good friend Mitch sent it my way, and am I glad that he did. Liz said it best with the statement "he [Childish Gambino] crosses genres effortlessly," as this mash combines the instrumental track of Chiddy Bang's "Mind Your Manners" with Gambino's "Put It In My Video." The result: a fun mashup that emphasizes the smooth lyrical delivery of Gambino as well as the extremely catchy chorus utilized by Chiddy Bang. My only qualm, which is minor at best, is the sudden ending that left me wanting more.
