The Architekt

I've posted The Architekt in my last few Artist Remixed in the dubstep section because I've simply loved his sound. He may not be a architekt of designing buildings and skyscrapers but he is a architekt of designing dubstep and filth. The grime that spews out of the Architekt's tracks is disgusting, it covers me with slime. I want to hurl, I'm being consumed by such dirty, filthy dubstep. Some of his remixes simply blow me away… Take a moment if you want to listen to some real filth and press play on the remixes below. Enjoy. Highlights on the "Champagne Showers" remix.

The first track is a remix of Daft Punk's "The Grid." It starts with a small interlude that captures the original soundtrack feel with vocals that bring you right up to the drop. Even the dubstep plays around with you as if it's part of the original soundtrack. It makes me feel like I'm on a highway with light racers darting by in every direction.

Daft Punk – The Grid (Architekt Remix)

The second is a remix of SebastiAn's "Dawg" which I really like because it keeps the heavy rock/electro from the original track and adds a mix of dubstep into the whole track.

Sebastian – Dawg (Architekt Remix)

The third is a remix of MIA's "Stepping Up" which takes her vocals and gives them a almost crude vibe mixing them in grimey dubstep and a horrific beat.

MIA – Steppin Up (Architekt Remix)

This is a remix of an original by The Architekt himself which doesn't hold back on grime, filth, or terror. It simply gives a high energy two minutes of high scratching synths mixed with a choppy drumstep beat and a fast pace crack addiction breakdown.

I Am The Architekt (The Architekt Drumstep Remix)

The last track (as stated above) my favourite remix of the lot. Possibly because I love the original, possibly because it keeps the original sounds completely except for the drop which comes in unexpected but much welcomed. I won't say much more. Listen and give it a view of your own.

LMFAO – Champagne Showers (Dubstep Remix)
