One way or another we've all heard of Arcade Fire. What we haven't heard is too many great covers of their songs. When I say 'Great Cover' I mean someone completely transforming the song and making it their own. Mr. Little Jeans (Monica Birkenes) is a Norwegian singer from London who records in LA (she's everywheerrrrree). She's the hottest thing on Hypem and rightfully so. Her cover of Arcade Fire's 'Suburbs' takes the original track, twists it through a vortex of electronic and ambience, spits it out onto Jack Nicholsons stomach where it rebounds into the air, catches the jet stream and descends into your ear with tales of the stars, the cities, and all the good and terrible things it has seen on its journey. Kudos to Mr. Little Jeans for making a track that allowed me to go on such a tangent. Kudos to you guys for making this track so popular. Now lets get down with the chill and give the doubters a mean grill with the best cover I've heard in quite some time.
