We've been scouring the music lands, and filing through tracks that you enthusiastic readers and musicians have sent us. We've found mashups from DJ's far and wide. We've found down-tempo ones. We've found super fast and beaty ones. Short ones and long ones. Ones that you wanna sit back and enjoy, and ones that will make you want to rage all over a dance floor. We think we've done our part. Ooooo someones in for a treattt, I'm overly stoked to bring you this weeks batch of bangers. So with the start of this badass Memorial Day summer is officially underway, so allow me to make it just a little more enjoyable. We all know summer marks the start of the 3B's (blunts, bikinis, and BBQs,) but it also marks the beginning of a nonstop supply of fresh mashes.
Mover Shaker dropped his debut summer album The Fortress of Steezhood this past week. We premiered 2 tracks off it last week, "Paradise in the USA" and "On My Swag", both nothing short of amazing and the same goes for the entire album. We're gonna play catchup a bit to get you prepared for the forthcoming summer weeks. I doubled up a ton this week on artists, batches from 3LAU, Kap Slap, ElectroSound, Fissunix and wait what. Of course some new new from the Hood Internet and not sure how it happened but I've just recently stumbled across Crumbsnatcher and instantly fell in love, the way he chops his beats and gives it that edgy appeal.. amazing.
