4-piece Stockholm outfit CHIRPING are relatively new to the scene but have already created quite the buzz around their fast-paced blend of indie pop. They have only released a couple of tracks, but the band is gearing up to release their 4-track EP Dancing With The Stars out March 4. Today we have the honor of premiering the first single off the EP, "Corona" a sunny blend of meticulously crafted melodies and lyrics. As February carries on and temperatures continue to fluctuate, Corona is the sunny slice of salvation we need to ignite our bones from within. Driving guitar melodies are paired with waves of crashing cymbals and lackadaisical baritone vocals that are reminiscent of Julian Casablancas of The Strokes. We have seen a resurgence of this style of rock with bands like Catfish and the Bottlemen and The Vaccines storming the airwaves and CHIRPING is a new force to add to the ranks and continue to build and evolve on this energetic blend of rock and pop.
