Manila Killa, an electronic producer born in the Philippines, is currently turning heads in the music scene as an active, upcoming artist. The young producer has remixed several popular tracks including Caribou's “Can't Do Without You”, Dawn Golden's “All I Want” and plenty more. The D.C. Native also is the other half of Hotel Garuda and plays a significant role in music collective Moving Castle. It seems Manila Killa does not slow down as Hotel Garuda also embarks their “Lost in Motion” North American tour, alongside Amtrac at the end of the month.

Manila Killa's first original track, “All That's Left” ft. Joni Fatora was premiered by Billboard and released off Next Wave Records. Hailing from Brooklyn, Indie-folk singer Fatora provides sweet breathy vocals over a funky beat. Joni Fatora's wistful voice and lyrics create for a somewhat nostalgic track, reminiscent of a childhood crush or young summer romance. The vocals are then spliced over a groovy melody which show off Manila Killa's versatile production skills. Check out the song below or purchase it on iTunes.

an ideal day consists of wandering a korean supermarket for cutely packaged snacks, stumbling upon instagram worthy neon signage, concluded with me drowning in several down blankets & obsessively sifting soundcloud to find a track that suitably fits my mood.
