Having already released tracks on Hot Since 82's Knee Deep in Sound, Saura and their own Lost Records imprint, talented UK duo Leftwing & Kody have had an ineffable 2015, and that's without mentioning their 'Best Newcomer' nomination at Sankey's Ibiza. Following their recent signing to Steve Lawler's VIVa Limited is a 3 track EP titled 3 point 0.
First up is the ominous "Pursuit," where high octane percussion is offset by disorientating synths that take you to dizzying heights before plunging you into the forbidding bassline. "What You Do To Me" steers the release down a slightly darker avenue with bustling percussion and reverberating vocals painting the backdrop for the repetitive, yet infectious, techno stabs. Last up on the release is "Keep On," where rattling snares and splashy cymbals pave the way for the monstrous rolling bassline to take control of the dance floor.
Leftwing & Kody are one of those artists that are capable of both quality and quantity. Yet another top release, you'll be able to add it to your collection from November 13th.
